Rape Escape

  • Easy and very effective
  • Requires nothing but your body
  • Includes attack

Very useful to know, pass and share please.

Worth watching

I don’t mean to impose a personal favour on you guys, but I really would like to ask that everyone who follows me reblog this.

I don’t think I made it very clear but last month I was sexually assaulted by someone who I thought was my friend (I don’t want to talk about it don’t ask), and it’s… really fucked with my head.

Had I known this a month ago I would have been able to get away

So, essentially, I’m really pleading with you to reblog this so everyone who follows you doesn’t get stuck in the same position I was with no way out.

I mean again I don’t want the point of this to be my sob story or whatever but if you could reblog this it would seriously mean a lot

and im asking to all of my followers who see this post in your dashboard to please press play to this video, you never know when this is gonna be useful, PLEASE DON’T IGNORE IT.

This is one of the first moves I was taught in Krav Maga, and it is one of the most effective.

It took me about a half hour to get down with practice, but once you get it, it’s an intuitive movement.

Please pass this along, it will save lives.

Yeah, I figured the answer would be "lots of legumes and nuts" hahaha. But yessssss I would love that! Chili's my fave, esp. since winter is coming. :))

Winter is coming… Lol sorry had to.

This works best in a slow cooker, btw, but just cooking until the beans are tender is basically all you’ve got to do. It’s a very easy dish and you can end up having a lot of fun tweaking with it to make it suitable to your own tastes.

You can use whatever variety of beans you want really, same with spices to taste - I use a lot of spice and don’t really measure since it’s taste-based, so I’m sorry I don’t have tablespoons or anything, but I’ll bet you’re good enough to be able to take care of seasonings. You can always just start off a teaspoon at a time and go from there. Without further ado:

1 can each of:
Black beans
Red kidney beans
Pink beans
Great Northern beans
Garbanzos / chickpeas
Dark red kidney beans (if you don’t want another variety of kidney, this can be substituted with another bean of your choosing)

2 cans diced tomatoes
1 medium white onion, diced
1 - 2 cloves garlic, diced, more if you really like it
1 jar spaghetti sauce of vegetarian / vegan choosing (marinara, Sockarooni, etc)
Optional: green chiles or another type of pepper, also diced

Necessary spices, to taste:
Pepper, salt
Chili Powder
Cumin
Parsley
Oregano (go easy as it can be overpowering in large quantities)

Optional spices:
Cayenne pepper (easy on this unless you like it hotter than the devil’s b-hole)
Sage
Thyme
Bay leaf (remember to remove after cooking is done and before eating!)

Toss all this stuff into a pot or slow cooker, stirring occasionally until beans are soft and onions are transparent. In a slow cooker / crock pot, usually it takes about 4 - 6 hours.

*Chili can become a very personal dish that can really reflect the cook, so feel free to mess around with the recipe and tweak it to suit your tastes. Have fun!
